The first time I met MK was at an Equestrian Team Competition here at UT Martin. It was freezing cold and one of our sisters was competing in the outdoor arena. We wanted to support our sister but the temperature forced us to take refuge in MK's Hummer. I was an a freshman and the youngest of our sisters there. I was too busy trying to stay warm to carry on much conversation though. It was a great day nevertheless and I will always remember that one time we went to the horse competition and almost froze. But MK saved the day!
TRIUMPH!
I can try my best to describe this amazing young lady but I would rather you learn for yourself by checking out her page at http://mkhill.theworldrace.org/. It is such an honor for me to support a fellow missionary. We are called, as Christians, to "GO" and MK Hill is an inspiring example of this calling.
You can also support her by purchasing one or both of the two types of bracelets MK is selling. The Lily&Laura roll on bracelets from Nepal are 1 for $13, 2 for $22, or 3 for $30. The Threads of Hope bracelets are made in the Philippians and are $2 each.
Just go to the "$ Support my journey $" link to the left of the page at the website above and donate how much your total is for the number of bracelets you would like. After you have donated, message MK on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/#!/mk.hill.31) with color preferences and your address so that she can send the bracelets to you!
Thank you so much for your support! Please keep MK in your prayers. She will begin The World Race in January 2013.
